BRIDGET O'BRIEN SWARTZ, CELA

Ms. Swartz's practice focuses on the financial and legal needs of minor disabled children and disabled adults under age 65, with an emphasis on public benefits eligibility issues.
She graduated cum laude from Arizona State University College of Law, obtained a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Arizona State University,and obtained her Bachelors Degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Ms. Swartz is currently acting as Judge Pro Tem in the Probate Division of the Maricopa County Superior Court and is a Specialist in Estate & Trust Law certified by the State Bar of Arizona. She is also certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). Ms. Swartz is currently serving as Chair of the Estate & Trust Advisory Commission of the State Bar of Arizona. She is Past President of the Arizona Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She was awarded NAELA Outstanding Chapter Member in Arizona for both 2004 and 2005. Ms. Swartz is also part of the leadership team of NAELA, and is serving in the capacity of Editor of its publication, the NAELA News, as well as serving on the Board of the Senior Rights Political Action Committee (SR-PAC) of NAELA.
Ms. Swartz participates as a member of the Special Needs Alliance, member of the Mental Health and Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona, and a member of the Probate and Trust Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Ms. Swartz also serves as a trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale Foundation.
